Overall the design is subtle and inconspicuous. I think this will look good albeit subdued when it's complete. I like how the marketing pins a lot of this development's focus on the Rosedale neighborhood even though it's actually in Summerhill.
 
I just drove by the site yesterday. The marketing on the huge billboard that covers the existing building makes it sound like a very exclusive and opulent development -- then I saw the rendering which looks rather plain with nothing special.
 
As long as they stick with the limestone facade, this will be a beauty. Otherwise, with precast or (gasp!) stucco this would be awful! Quality materials make all the difference in the world.
 
Today. Hoarding is up and the building is coming down.
