It’s interesting, in a bad way, how changing the windows changed to look of the building. The original windows contributed a lot to the industrial feel of the building, and they were replaced by large undivided panes of glass the building lost a lot of its charm. Shame really.

I do like a nice simple brick building with good proportions though.

I doubt even the pre-renovation windows were original to the building design, but I agree that fenestration is something that has a significant and underrated impact on simple buildings like these where every bit of extra detail counts.
