I thought the city decided to remove those crosswalks, so why are they adding more to it, anyone know?

they removed the Bay - Bloor crossing. Yonge - Bloor and Yonge - Dundas are staying.

This might be a little off topic but that first picture from Benito really reminded me of what Kathmandu looked like after the earthquake in April. My brother and I were traveling together when it happened. Scary time for both of us, really glad we got out okay. But yeah, that really took me back...
