I like the fact that the One is much taller than its neighbour.

It gives a nice peak effect instead of that boring table top look of the financial district.

Perhaps NYCC, but the financial district is far from a table top. Case in point:

That restaurant floor is either going to look amazing with a ton of overhead diagonal beams or they’re going to have to segment them into smaller rooms. Hard to tell without the scale of a person nearby but that appears to be a jungle of beams.

Can anyone with better skill than me on things like this make a better future view of The One from the DVP? This was my view coming downtown yesterday and I was curious how it would look like with The One added to the skyline. Truly dominating.

My offering is crude, and inaccurate, but it does give you an idea of the view you may see based on the vantage point in your photo. I look forward to seeing your photo when The One is completed.

I wanted to see how it'd look from other angles after doing the first one, so here it is photoshopped down the Yonge Street corridor from the Deer Park neighborhood. Really fills the skyline in when looking down Yonge; this angle looks super urban it's great to see. Hopefully got the height about right, it may appear taller though.
