When you do, remember that the Google developer (Carterra) still has to do their streetscape work on Colbourne from Church to Leader Lane and on Leader Lane from Colbourne to King. The plans I saw a couple of years ago looked pretty good (Market Street Lite), it was postponed as they did not want both Colbourne & Wellington blocked at same time and various utililites had work to do in the area too, I THINK it is now planned for 2025 at same time City rebuilds the lower block of Leader Lane and Colbourne Lane.Great image! I want to check out Colbourne and see if it is changing due to all of the development on it.
Interesting! Do u have a link where i can read more on this??When you do, remember that the Google developer (Carterra) still has to do their streetscape work on Colbourne from Church to Leader Lane and on Leader Lane from Colbourne to King. I think there may have been some renderings on UT but the ones I saw were distributed/shown at an online meeting. Basically, they (Cartera) were going to narrow Colborne from Church to Leader Lane and make woonerfs not curbs and the north end of Leader Lane was to look like Market Street but remain open to traffic. Their project ended at Leader but the plan was (is?) to do same on the blocks of Colborne to Yonge when the development at Yonge & Colborne goes ahead. The City were (and I think still are) planning to fully pedestrianise the south part of Leader Lane (Colborne to Wellington). The City still say on T0InView that they are reconstructing the south block of Leader Lane plus Colborne Lane.Interesting! Do u have a link where i can read more on this??
