This could either go very well or very badly. No in between.

It's going to be actual bricks with a real mortar between them for the face with a precast concrete back on them. There are a number of ways of making these. I posted a YouTube video on another thread a couple of weeks ago of one of the ways these are created.

The beauty is that you get a real brick face, but you get better durability, better insulation value, and you can hoist them into place while avoiding the need to put up either a scaffold or affix movable stages on the exterior.

So, more than likely, it's going to go very well.

In actuality the lawns are very tiny. The mansions are just a few feet from the sidewalk. James cooper has a small sculpturegarden walk up on the south side, which I enjoy a lot.
