Offshore investors rejoice, yet another bland development. ?
Will it? Dufferin here is arguably the most congested arterial road in the city, this isn’t really that close to the subway, and there is little in walking distance from here beyond the mall. It’s far from the best place for this kind of density if you ask me.It might be boring but it will still be good to see this area densify.
The corner at Lawrence and Dufferin is a vast improvement. And that isnt really close to anything. This is directly across from yorkdale, which is expanding itself, and a relatively short walk to a GO bus terminal, a TTC subway and one of the best malls in the country. We shouldn't avoid building because of the fear of congestion on dufferin. Either way that street is always going to be busy. At least we can surround it with nice buildings which would be far nicer to look at while sitting in traffic than car dealerships and a Holliday inn. Will it? not any worst of what they built are building and planning up the West Mall/427 in Etobicoke? It’s far from the best place for this kind of density if you ask me.
Yeah. What do you do at west mall and 427. Go to Woodbine and or honeydale mall. Plus the transit situation would be a nightmare in comparison. This area has a hospital, downside park, yorkdale, and a subway. To me it might be ugly but it has tons of potential.not any worst of what they built are building and planning up the West Mall/427 in Etobicoke?
