Looks better than I expected, and the wrap is great! I like the idea of the wrap changing annually; it gives a datable quality to pics of the square. I can see people wanting to "collect" selfies there annually.

Yeah, why not use the big concrete planter/anti-vehicle attack as a barrier? Given the money the city spends on beautifying other parts of the city something better could be done at Union.

All they need is to install something like a toe guard railing system. The one thing that irks me is how western edge of the pedestal didn't line up with the pool. Typical OCD stuff.

A quick look at the Peace Garden side of the square, to admire some extremely healthy trees and foliage!

Note that the height appears to nearing or cresting 50ft on the tallest trees.
