Great shots but I keep seeing all these hydro poles and wires cluttering things up. Should they not be underground and out of site? Is this just Toronto Hydro and another lost opportunity to improve the public realm while a major redevelopment project is ongoing?
Couldn't agree more. I realise that Toronto Hydro is a regulated industry and needs approval to raise $$ for 'upgrades" like burying wires and putting transformers into vaults BUT if the City had been on top of things they could probably have had wire burying put into the Site Plan and paid for by the developer - possibly as part of their community benefits.
 
Is there a list of retail etc that have been confirmed?
