But then maybe they are just classiying that work as an "emergency" to get around that moratorium.

Not so sure about signs that make you walk around it to see if you missed anything... >.<

Now this is what I would call Archtecture. It maks you think more than once. It's not monolithic or an extruded concrete box with balcony decoration posing as Architecture. I want to see all those building materials up close and why that material and why in that particular location. I want to see all sides in a walk around. It doesn't conform completely to Toronto's ruthless boring grid. It excites me to go inside and explore more. There's use of curves. and a nod or two to context and the history of the century buildings around.

i left the building around 730 last night, i heard fire alarms in the elevator and saw the strobe lights when walking down spadina. it wasnt announced but it could be fire alarm testing
remember theres tenants in the office building, an actual fire here on one of the floors isnt impossible
 
It looks like it's trying troll something than give the news.
