Significant changes in the amenities would most likely void the sale contracts. It is highly unlikely a developer can fully drop a promised pool or basketball court. But they could make design changes to the original contract and argue they are not material (i.e smaller pool, half court, no cabanas, etc)

They are continuing to excavate the centre section; yesterday the smell of oil was VERY strong. (I think the former oil tanks were mainly in the centre of the site.)
