Looks better than I expected, and the wrap is great! I like the idea of the wrap changing annually; it gives a datable quality to pics of the square. I can see people wanting to "collect" selfies there annually.

Temporary as in that is what they are usually used for, not any hope about how long they will be there.

Yeah, why not use the big concrete planter/anti-vehicle attack as a barrier? Given the money the city spends on beautifying other parts of the city something better could be done at Union.

All they need is to install something like a toe guard railing system. The one thing that irks me is how western edge of the pedestal didn't line up with the pool. Typical OCD stuff.

Thank you for the positive notes regarding the Peace gardens and the lovely tree. Especially nice after the previous few negative Nellys going on and on about a safety fence.
