Progress? Yet another condo on Bay Street. This is far from Progress. Walk down Bay Street from Bloor to Dundas sometime and ask yourself, if you just wasted 15 minutes of your life or not looking at prime examples of nothing but the greed and inconsideration of developers.

No, I see the homes of thousands of people who can only afford to buy into multi-unit residential buildings enjoying the benefits of downtown living on land that was formerly parking lots.

I agree with you....I actually enjoy walking down Bay st to avoid the crowdedness of Young St anytime.

Anyway, nice to know that things are about to get underway here.
 
Most of the trees along St. Mary St are protected and there's a trailer on site located between the sales office and the parking lot.
 
Finally, the last of the big proposed developments that survived the Credit Crunch...Its going to be nice to see these two bad boys go up..and wow, yet another 100 storeys of glass for the Bay/Bloor area.
 
Construction has been very slow. Only this Thursday and Friday did fencing start to go up surrounding the site and the hoarding posts start to be installed on Bay. Between the time the parking lot was shut down and now, except the tree protection, there was very little to indicate any progress on this.
