According to DCN in post #636, tower #2 would start 1 year after tower #1.

That post was in August of 2009..i thought this has been mentioned before.. that the excavation now is for both buildings, which also may mean tower one may be half way up while tower two starts rising...

What a huge site. This project is going to have a major impact on upper Bay St.

This really is a massive site. More hoarding is going up along St. Mary St that will completely block the sidewalk on that side of the street. Some shoring equipment showed up this morning too. A few pictures from the past week and today:

Great photo update greenleaf.

Thanks

Greenleaf are you going to update this site regularly from that angle? Would be great if you did.

I am curious as to why they cleared that one square of earth. The site is so much bigger. Are the towers on two separate bases/podia?

Will be interesting to see whether this is one of those uber-fast excavations like Aura or plodding like 77 Charles.

Just noticed there was updates for U, X and L close to each other. I think someone made a comment about the letter-named projects before. I don't know if it was pointed out these three spell "LUX". We just need an "R Tower", and "Y Tower" to spell L-U-X-U-R-Y.

Looks like they're pile driving now, sorry no photos Yonge St was slightly more exciting than Bay St Thursday afternoon...not by much though. Y st is very much the poor trash street; Bay St is cute university and condo girls street.:)

This is going up right across from work, my cubicle has a partial view outside west.

These were taken Wednesday and Thursday last week. Any ideas how to reduce the glare from the office furniture?

The pile driving is annoying to listen to all day.
