Assuming most universities are the same, there shouldn't be an issue photographing UTM. I used to wander around and take pics of York U all the time when I was there, never had an issue.

I love how all our universities and colleges are building cutting edge modern buildings.
 
For some reason I really like the unfinished look. I like the bright orange look on a dullish grey day. The insultation is rather neat and organized.
 
I really need to pay this place a visit. When I was there in the late 90s and early 2000s it was probably the worst place to be as this was all getting started, but nothing was really finished.

Maybe soon they can finally get around to destroying the North Building.
