The really clean white/black look actually matches the TTC Union renos, I like it a lot. The materials and finishes look high quality as well.

That's a good observation. It definitely looks like it was coordinated with the TTC reno, in order to make it look like it was actually one project, and part of a cohesive complex, instead of the patchwork of styles that used to exist. I hope the plans for the new bus loop at 45 Bay follow a similar look.

The subway station new platform has been fully defaced with huge ads for an insurance company. That didn't take long.

Yes!

I didn't realize that access to the East Wing was part of the deal. That's about time!

45 Bay is far bigger than "bus loop" - it will be a huge bus station that may serve not only GO but also other bus companies who now use the station on Bay - which would be closed.

You're right. Wrong choice of words. My point still stands though: Hopefully the architectural style of the bus terminal matches the style of the Union concourse and subway station.

That signage is a bit of a mess. I really wish the UP express didn't have their own goofy branding. It doesn't even read like a rapid transit route it just looks like some corporate logo.

It's a shame there wasn't some universal transit symbol for airport ...
