They've set up the hoarding around the site, but still not much movement on the shoring and excavation work yet:

Caught a glimpse while passing by on the subway, there's a shoring rig on site along with evident work happening now.

The shoring process is taking them a long time, this site continues to be a slow mover.
 
I think they may have started without shoring permit
I see a demo permit but no other permits pulled. Probably a TTC holdup
 
Lovely. Hillsdale is now one way (Eastbound only) from the subway tracks to Yonge. At least it's not fully closed like Helendale was.
