First we work our way around 3 sides:

Now, just a couple of shots where we take a closer look at those finishes...........hmmmmmm

If the aim was to build a condo that's even uglier than the Residences at the Hunt Club, just a couple blocks west of here, then they're well on their way.

This might also be up there for the title of most spandrel heavy top ever. 😄

That's a design issue, of course, but the execution leaves a few concerns.

The water stains/discolouration on brand new cladding; missing grout/mortar....

This building could look so much better if they used well rounded materials. Just saying...

We are preparing our annual Best Buildings poll, and are looking for clean shots (with hoarding/fences gone) of each recently completed building to include in it to make it fair. If you are by here in the next short while, please shoot this building from across the street and post it right away!

Another new set for you; photos taken December 16th, 2021:

At a distance, this one has turned out decently; and the issues with exterior walls (faux stone) have been somewhat ameliorated. More on that later.

Streetscape along Kingston Road:

(note the use of reinforced (floating) sidewalks, that's good; would really like to see more open soil around the trees though.

A close-up of the wall here:

(note that some of the profound discolouration/staining seen earlier has been addressed. However, there remain some real issues. Colouring isn't flawlessly even; there are some overt stains (much more subtle than before) and just
the way the stone comes together seems a bit off in spots.

It's a shame since this could've been a rather attractive building with curved glass and less spandrel. Hell, even if they'd bothered to round out the precast it would be an improvement. Little details like that make all the difference, it's unfortunate so many developments cheap out on these things.
