@Paclo and @interchange42, the number of floors for the 2 towers have been increased by 2 floors each with the height of the tallest is 44 story at 142.25m at the top of the mechinal roof. I saw the detail engineering drawings today. The hight of the approved development hasn't change since day one. To gain the extra floors was to reduce the floor heights from 12 feet to 10 feet starting at level 10.
As a note regarding the two remaining sites for developments area, the current sales office will become the next site to be develop when there is a market for it as well the heights of the buildings that were approved over a decade ago. It is block 6 with 5s + 48s + 40s + 5s + 3s Townhouses buildings. Block 13 along Confederation was to be 3 towers with 35 + 45 + 50 with the model showing 2 towers with one being taller. Until the market crash, Amacon was looking at 90-100 story since Pinnacle was building 106 floor tower and to be taller than M City. The earlest the next site may come to market can be 5-10 years
Thank you @drum118, note that the storey change still required a Minor Variance and was approved on condition of providing 22 affordable rental units (including at least 12 two-bedroom units) for a minimum of 15 years; which has also been noted in the database.
Also note that we have a dedicated project page and thread for Block 6 here:
Parkside Village: Block 6 | 145m | 48s | Amacon | Richmond Architects
Replacing the missing thread started in 2012 by me and this is the sale office area. This was the info for the site back in 2012 and no new update on it.
