Honestly I actually am beginning to really like this building. No, it won’t win any design competitions but the building material quality is good and the street presence is promising. I also really like the warmth and look of the horizontal orange lines... I was also shocked to see some of trees surround sugar beach were still holding their leaves in to December!

Every time I passed by this building, the sun was glaring in my eyes, making it hard to see the finer details of the materials here. But what I think I saw was some sort of a wood grain look to the horizontal stripes. Does anyone have any closeup photos of the stripes? Are they going for a faux wood look here, or did my eyes deceive me?

It's not wood - it's terracotta.
