Indeed, though we knew we weren't getting it. At least they did use it at ground level where it really mattered.

I still find this tower a little too bulky for my tastes, though that's a price for getting a new park.

This project has a lot of positives that outweigh its rather bland balcony treatment. I really love the podium, the wedding-cake style stepbacks, the crinkle in the balconies that break it up and the fact that it will contribute a brand new park to the neighbourhood. I'm sure once the top is resolved and lit, it will look even better.
