I actually quite like how the crown is coming together -- the semi-transparency gives an almost high-tech vibe (at least as soon in the aggressive zoom pic).

I can almost see an 80s/early 90s F+Pesque move of creating a pylon (a la Commerzbank or Century Tower) at one of the rounded corners.
