Wow does this bring back memories. My mom worked in PR for the Prince Hotel in the mid-70s; I got to see the Japanese suite and we ate at the Katsura on the regular. I can't believe it's still there.

I was last there in the 90s and early 00s and don't seem to recall any overt Japanese art or design. Did they end up moving away from the theme?

There wasn't an overall Japanese theme; I was talking about the one suite they modeled after a Japanese inn, as referenced in the 1973 clipping above.
