More and more I've been taking the Valley Line to and from work. I have taken the train early in the morning, late morning, mid day, late afternoon, late night. I have very rarely seen major issues happening and when I have there have been police dealing with it. All the hearsay bout how horrible our LRT safety is, is way overblown.

So based solely on your personal experience on one line at specific times "All the hearsay bout how horrible our LRT safety is, is way overblown." I didn't realize the many people who did have bad experiences and reported it is apparently "hearsay". Good to know - thanks

With Bill 18 - Provincial Priorities Act, what really matters is whether the province believes transit in Edmonton is acceptably safe to permit funding agreements... Government would be getting more reports about the bad (despite measured progress) if our MLA's were UCP.

Can someone explain why they put up 52 Million little blue utility flags along the landscaping s the entire stretch of the SE part? I hope they plan on pulling them up rather than letting Mother Nature do her thing and have them blow around like shit stix in the wind forever…..

I think this was for warranty work, as each blue flag would represent a landscaping item (shrub, tree etc) that should be there. I might be wrong tho

Always find it interesting how all summer long the projects drag and then as fall hits we are into over time.

Its like ST Albert only starts project after Labour day.
Yes and every year in September there seems to be a lot of barriers and roads blocked all over just as traffic gets busier as people come back from vacation and go back to school.
