The City of Vancouver has received an application to rezone 6 West 17th Avenue (Turner Dairy) from RS-7 (One-Family Dwelling) District to a CD-1 (Comprehensive Development) District under the City's Heritage Policies and Guidelines, including the Heritage Action Plan. The proposal is for the adaptive reuse of the existing 3-storey building, including:

  • heritage restoration and designation;
  • a total of 13 market residential units;
  • a total floor area of 2,011 sq. m. (21,644 sq. ft.);
  • a floor space ratio (FSR) of 1.82;
  • a building height of 10.6 m (35 ft.);
  • 20 vehicle parking spaces; and
  • 18 bicycle spaces.

I like it and think it's done well. It's absolutely baffling that these townhouses are going for like 1.6 mil though
