First leg of this extension is set for construction shortly and operation in 2025 (not bad timing for a 5.7km extension that's mainly tunneled (5km).

It's to bad that it doesn't continue down to the University. For students, they can get halfway on the subway and then have to make a transfer to continue the rest of the way. I may be wrong but I believe that connection isn't on the books for any time soon either.

Its being studied.............though it hasn't been funded yet.

Millennium Line UBC Extension

TransLink is studying an extension of the Millennium Line SkyTrain from Arbutus to UBC that would better connect students, employees and residents who travel between UBC and other parts of Metro Vancouver with a high speed and frequent SkyTrain service.
