I agree with the writer's comment re: colour. I've been watching this building go up and have a good feeling about it. Others?
 
Totally agree. It's almost like a mea culpa for tearing down all of those colourful spandrelite curtain walls from the '50s and 60's..
 
good use of colour for sure but why so boxy? I guess I'll have to experience this area once the construction is complete and the building becomes inhabited, but I always felt like this area was a black hole. Hopefully increased foot traffic and some fresh tree plantings will give it some life.
 
What a cool looking building. Why we get something like this along the waterfront instead of all the green and gray?
 
I hope this is just the start, with more colour to come. Gray is just so depressing, especially when it's EVERYWHERE.
