Protruding high into the ever-changing skyline of Midtown Nashville, Novare Group's 25-storey Skyhouse Nashville, designed by Smallwood, Reynolds, Stewart, Stewart, has been progressing well since our last update in April, with the tower now all but topped-off. Recent images highlight the project's progress, with the cladding nearing completion and only the top few storeys left to go.
Set to bring 352 residential units to the corner of 17th Avenue South and Broadway, at the heart of quickly evolving Midtown, the tower will be divided into studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom units catering to young professionals and families. The ground level will be given over to 930 square metres of retail space, which will add to the site's urban character while filling a gap created by the demolition of a local sub shop.
Seen above, Skyhouse Nashville will tower above its Midtown surroundings, adding to the metropolitan vibe now beginning to redefine the area. Adjacent to Nashville's famous Music Row and walking distance to the city centre, Skyhouse will place residents in the heart of the action.
Set for completion in early 2017, Skyhouse Nashville will feature an impressive host of amenities, including what will become the city's tallest rooftop terrace, which will offer a saltwater pool, an outdoor fireplace, a kitchen, and a BBQ area. The last level will also feature an indoor catering space fully equipped with a kitchen, fireplace, and pool table. A fitness centre and studio will complete the series of rooftop amenities, while Wi-Fi will be accessible throughout all the common areas of the building, such as the lobby with concierge and the pet wash station.
Once complete, Skyhouse Nashville will become Midtown's tallest structure to date, likely setting an upward trend in the area's near future.
SkyriseCities will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
