Five months since our last update, and progress at the site of CMC Group's Brickell Flatiron has been moving along nicely, the 64-storey residential high-rise now close to topping off at the heart of Miami's rapidly rising Brickell District. Set to rise to 224 metres, Brickell Flatiron will soon become one of the tallest of its kind in the area, on target to bring upwards of 800 new residents to the neighbourhood, spread across its 549 units.

Located close to the ocean, and just a block away from Brickell Station, the high-rise is well-situated, residents to be able to enjoy all that the bustling Brickell district has to offer. The curvilinear tower was designed by Luis Revuelta, with interior design by Italian architect Massimo Iosa Ghini.

Building amenities include an 18th floor lap pool, theatre, library lounge, and 64th floor rooftop pool and deck with 360º city and ocean views. Prices range from $500,000 to $11 million, leaving a generous gap between one-bedrooms and the upper floor penthouse suites.

Listed at $11.25 million (USD), Penthouse 6201 features 9,349 square feet of luxury living, including 5.5 bathrooms plus a den, library, office, and private pool deck. Considered as a whole, the completed Brickell Flatiron will be a welcome addition to Miami, bringing a mix of lifestyles (and budgets) together under one roof.

SkyriseCities will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
