Billed as the world's tallest residential high-rise, New York's 1,550-foot Central Park Tower has now launched sales. Located at the foot of Central Park, along the 57th Street "Billionaire's Row," the 95-storey Central Park Tower will soon join the Manhattan's elite group of supertall, super-luxury towers, with eye-watering prices to match.

Designed by Adrian Smith +Gordon Gil Architecture, the 473-metre supertall tower will soon be home to just 179 units, many of which will come in the form of full-floor, or even multi-floor configurations. Equipped with multi-million dollar views of Central Park and the Manhattan skyline, Central Park Tower will be sure to attract a very select group of buyers.

Viewed in the video above, Central Park Tower is truly a standout project, its supertall-and-skinny profile boosting the project to superstar status. The tower will feature a full range of amenities, including a 15,000 square-foot outdoor terrace and 60-foot rooftop pool, along with a sauna, lounge, and children's playroom. Down below, Central Park Tower will meet the street with a seven-storey, 320,000 square-foot Nordstrom flagship store, thereby bringing continuity to the high-end retail row that defines the local streetscape.

SkyriseCities will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
