Five months since our last update, and Miami's tallest tower has now topped off and is nearing completion. At 63 storeys, CMC Group's Brickell Flatiron stands tall at 224 metres, the 549-unit high-rise soon to become an iconic part of the downtown skyline.

Located at the centre of Miami's rapidly-intensifying Brickell District, the Revuelta Architecture-designed tower is close to transit, the ocean, restaurants, shops, and numerous nightlife options. Well-situated at the heart of the downtown core, Brickell Flatiron will be a prime address for young professionals looking for a mix of urban living and luxury.

Moving down to street level, the ground-floor components of the project, including the main entranceways, and the parking garage, are also nearing completion. As seen above, the tower's signature undulating silhouette has been carried all the way down to the bottom, the glass curtain wall adopting the overall curve of the structure.

Above, a view of the parking level, with its perforated metallic screening, can be well made out, perched as it is above the double-height main floor. Once complete, Brickell Flatiron will be a fine addition to downtown Miami, part of the city's ongoing urban transformation.

SkyriseCities will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
