Nearly a year since our last update, and progress at Renelle on the River has moved ahead significantly. Cladding and glazing work has now made its way across the entirety of the 18-storey luxury residential high-rise by Belgravia Group and bKL Architecture, the project soon to reach completion.

Perched atop a parking garage for the adjacent Trump International Hotel and Tower, Renelle on the River has been shoehorned onto a tight downtown lot in the heart of the city. Close to Grand/State Station, the Loop, and the central waterfront, Renelle on the River will offer the very best of the city to its residents.

Named after the word "runnel," meaning a delicate stream or brook, Renelle on the River doubles down on the water theme, its proximity to the Chicago River ostensibly a major selling point for the 50-unit luxury tower. For while not the tallest tower to be found in the core, Renelle on the River will provide residents with splendid skyline views nonetheless.

Renelle on the River will consist of a mix of three- and four-bedroom suites, with prices ranging from $1.35-$2.34 million (USD). Once complete, the luxury boutique condo tower will be a fine addition to the core, a fitting counterpart to its now infamous neighbour.

SkyriseCities will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
