PARIS [19] Tuileries & Place de la Concorde
After a visit to the Louvre, I walked along les Tuileries westbound :
Place de la Concorde - a huge traffic circle with a nice monument and fountain in the middle :
A double-decker sightseeing tour bus. Other than these ones, all the buses in Paris are single-deckers. I believe I saw the manufacturer being Renault.
Crossing the river you see a huge ad for the 2012 Olympic bid :
More tourist sightseeing boats and other watercraft :
These trees look so dead. I hated all the cars rumbling by the riverside. It really killed the atmoshpere.
The wall of buildings along Rue de Rivoli was most impressive. Each building is unique with lots of details, but they all come together very nicely.
