Great pics. Nice to see cities alive at night as well as the day.

Love this cluttered pic:

Mustapha - I think a Toronto hot dog vendor would be wise to start offering this! A hot dog that comes with the fries packed on the outside of the weiner and ketchup draped on top is not only delicious but only requires one hand... so much better tasting and practical than what you find on Toronto streets right now.

ganajavih - You seem to be a fan of cluttered retail. You'll find it everywhere you look in Seoul, old areas and new. What's truly fabulous is that at night they all light up and these areas are often filled with people well into the night, even on work nights. One of my favourite things about Toronto is that it doesn't become a deserted ghost town on weekday nights unlike most American cities. Seoul takes it to a whole other level, it's amazing to experience a city on such a massive scale (nearly the population of Canada if you include the metro) that the residents fully utilize and live in.

There's a small park near my house that has a 1.2 km padded running track around it, basketball courts, mini soccer pitch (feild turf), in-line track, exercise machines and more.. and it's packed every night until midnight. It's so much better executed than any public space in Toronto is, as are their street retail. Now if only they could do something about this damn smog.
