I saw an ad facing north towards King St on Parliament today for the Gooderham Condos at the Distillery.

I believe this is the one that will be directly in front of the Young Centre for the Performing Arts. I believe I heard it had been approved for 32 stories, but the developers are trying add another 8 on top of that.

Is this Clear Spirit phase 2 or a completely new project?

I'm not sure if it's "phase 2", but it will be located in the two tankhouses in front of the Young Centre.

If this isn't Clear Spirit Phase II, then the Distillery will be little more than a condo district, save for SoulPepper and a few galleries in buildings that haven't become shells for condo towers. Pure and Clear Spirit was more than enough.

Honestly this had better not be another condo on top of the ones we know about already. I wish from the beginning the entire district was left alone and designated a proper heritage site. Build around it, not in.
