IF {and it's a big IF}, Eglinton opens Sept 1st will Finch do the same?
You need time to setup the second ribbon cutting staff to keep riders inform where to go, have that first official political ride, which bus routes maybe change that day, crowd control and so on. It could be a week between openings to the next board change, but it will be fall opening.

Does anyone have a link to the latest proposal for the bus route changes along Eglinton?

Opening the line in September vs July or August is dumb, you would want to see the performance before the school & work season commences,
It’s actually smart. It’s better to adjust the bus network in September than during the quieter summer. Usually that’s when all the changes take place anyways.

If that was the opening date, then that would give them 5 full months of simulated service.

By that point, they will have well worked out whatever issues may have still existed.

Does this info and opening date conflict with what your sources have been saying this whole time?

I was just at Kennedy station and I saw that one of the walls is down by where the entrance for the go train station is on the mid level concorse.

Also at that end new fare gates have been installed closer to the exit.

2 Thoughts:

Is this the "pre-training" period before official simulated service begins, so the real frequency will be even higher than this?

Also since we can't see what's going on in the underground section, is it safe to assume they're running even more trains down there given the planned service pattern?

Will the expected new order for the west extension be for more Flexities or for the Citadis models found on other LRT projects?
