Cadillac Fairview's Yonge Corporate Centre came up for sale in 2023 and again in 2025. Not sure if it sold the second time. Rendering company Tango Studios shared these concepts on social media without identifying a client or designer.

Are these a crappy architectural design or a very good massing reference? (genuine question, sadly 😬). Very interesting concept to retain the existing office buildings though.

edit: this could be for real estate purposes actually. Shows what's theoretically possible on the site to pique the interest of potential buyers.

But they'll never get that high-massing due to 45 Degree Angular Plane Rule protecting City Parkland,.... huh? What happened to the south at Gupta's 32-storey 4050 Yonge,... oh, never mind!!!

This is not representative of the current idea(s).

I presume the office space is being reconsidered, given the area.

If the buildings here came up for wholesale redevelopment, there's no way they're going on the same footprint, since they encroach into the TRCA 10M from STOS setback.

Retaining existing buildings creates some pathways to reducing or eliminating new LTSTOS and woodlot delineation and setbacks.

Any redevelopment here would likely involve Multi-Use Trail connections to the west,.... as it did for the 4050 Yonge development directly south,... the City already owns most of the land by the river with decent setback except one small section near one of these buildings,.... and CityStaff already studying feasibility of Multi-Use Trail connection from Earl Bales Park network to York Mills Subway Station with connection to WestLansing/Willowdale area
