A public meeting is being held on May 5 to remove the H holding on Phase 3 for Uptown as well revised the plan for the site.

The original plan call for 15s+20s+20s and now being asked for 22s+26s with the total same number of units and a better look.

This site is next to the north side of Crystal.

Is the road network of this development going to be connected to the road network of the neighbouring single family homes? Seems odd that they have two different roads running alongside eachother where the townhomes face the detached homes.

If this is remaining as is, its a complete planning failure. Total waste of space and lack of opportunity to connect the two sides.

welcome to suburban nimbyism based planning. The homeowners on the existing streets worry about increased traffic on their street, and ask for it not to be connected. As this is a fairly easy thing to do for a developer, it is granted.

The only concession, I believe, was to connect the two dead-end streets abutting the development. The towers were going to be taller as well but both community and the councilor said no. The councilor said straight out that taller towers (30+) should not encroach on anything outside MCC.
