Keep in mind O2 is part of the consultant group on this one, and they seem to have a knack for getting taller-than-usual towers approved in various parts of the city (think Kit @ Kensington among others). I just hope Bankside is able to get something this ambitious off the ground.

Pretty sure the redesignation was nothing more than a land lift for the current owner. They have no development expertise, so I don't expect to see something happen on this site unless and until it gets purchased by an experienced developer.

I checked out the cost of a flight Jan 8-22 next year, it came up as $2390.44 for the two of us, which works out to just under $1200 each - pretty reasonable I thought.
