Aesthetics aside, it will be nice to have some of these conversions plugged into the +15 network. And the point about the pattern bearing a resemblance to the profile of that +15 is making me like it slightly more.

Boy are we ever! I was in TO in the spring and it was just depressing seeing all the construction cranes vs. the smattering of cranes (mostly for 6 storey wood frame) here. Then again, I suppose the city we are most often compared to, Denver, is also not exactly a hot bed of skyscraper...

A Revised Plans application was submitted for this one with some fairly minor changes. So this appears to be gearing up to move ahead.

It is a huge win to get these projects going along 16th East. That area is so depressing right now.

That's a crazy number of units going in there. While it's frustrating that our record population growth isn't helping get any inner city construction going, areas like Medicine Hill, West District and especially University District are unrecognizable from a few years ago.

That's impressive that Calgary is considered to be ahead of Ottawa in the rankings. For as long as I can remember Ottawa has been considered a major tech hub. They are lumping in Waterloo as part of Toronto's ecosystem which I consider to be a bit of a stretch.

It has been a lousy couple of months weather wise. In fact, March and April were sort of sucky too. I bet we could count the number of days when the temperature hit 20 so far this year on one hand.

Extremely disappointing that they are cutting the number of units in half. What a missed opportunity.
