The first renovation from 2009 has long concluded. They’re only putting in new lighting now because the early generation LED lighting they initially put in was failing.

All of the lighting along the platform at St Andrew appears to be all replaced. It’s much brighter and much nicer now.

Maybe they over compensated. It was the GO Transit ticket and Presto combined machine, the big black one, at Rouge Hill GO Station.

Metrolinx has a volume problem. Just used a ticket/Presto machine and the feedback sounds are unbelievably loud. Like it was uncomfortable to use.

Just happened to pass by today.

I will say though: it discouraged me from taking the LSE from Rouge Hill and then UP to Bloor to get to High Park. Before, the UP leg was free.

Didn’t they run express buses to the CNE to add capacity to the Bathurst corridor? I would imagine they could do that again.

Not to mention this is not an issue on the TTC legacy, Ion, or Edmonton cars.

Seems like a weird Metrolinx thing. It's occasionally like this on their buses.
