My hope is that once Westrich is done building their 6-storey projects around O-daymin Park (Lotus Park, Lilac Park and Vantage Park), they will then turn to their 'Downtown parking lot' sites to develop towers on. Who knows, though...

@Dubas said the tower isn't far behind so hopefully that means a DP submission later this winter or early spring, with a building permit following to allow for construction to start in the fall. They don't need to excavate so they can technically start structural steel next winter, but hopefully...

Doubt it, I believe that proposal was in response to CWB's move, but now that they chose National Bank Centre, this old proposal is likely long gone.

The Province is actively looking at an expansion of the Royal Alex. The Emergency Department would be expanded into the Active Treatment Centre. A new Acute Care building would be built on the sites of the existing Community Services Centre and Woman's Centre, likely adding about 30% more space...

I could see that as well - I know Marriott is looking for a potential relocation of the Courtyard by Marriott hotel (that was a former office that was converted to a hotel, so not purpose-built)...
