I’m happy to say I haven’t gone to a single game this season. Love the Oilers but hate the Management and don’t like the Ownership (happy they invested in the arena, Ice District and such, but they could’ve done all that without the public money).

I think a lot of the area servicing work needs to get done first or at least well underway before the builder mobilizes for construction, so a 2027 start checks out to me.

I don't think there was anyone saying the Bowman signing was a good idea at the time, except for Katz and Bowman himself. Even before that, almost everyone I know though the Holland signing was also not a good idea (especially when they were interviewing Bill Zito and elected to go with Holland...

Not bad not bad not bad. Could have around 800 new residents living in that one block, which is huge.

Being able to drive up to Tuk without having to detour to the Dempster will be huge for tourism in both the NWT as well as here. I'd definitely do that trip, since I've always wanted to drive the Dempster, but will of course welcome a shorter drive to the same destination.
