The upper bridge crossing is open now! I think it used to be wood planks? Smoother now but it still looks a bit shoddy. Maybe temporary given the winter conditions?

Got a notice that my request was marked as closed but I walked by today and the path is completely flooded with about a foot of water, so I will file a new request (or reopen the old one?) Maybe it's just melted from the sides of the path but they should put in some bumper reinforcements on...

The auto body shop has finally been demolished and the lot is fenced off now! The pylons on the road are from a different project (railpath/davenport diamond work) so that entire stretch of Dupont is going to continue to be a mess for the foreseeable future.

A small update/upgrade: the south sidewalk of Dupont is back to being open, and freshly painted (for now). Hurray! I also noticed they repainted the half of the bridge that's complete, along with the lettering. Bridge segment still not open to peds though.

I know it's a temporary solution but the pedestrian walkway along Annette/Dupont under that bridge is a biohazard. The ammonia-like stench and number of dead pigeons under that bridge makes it very difficult to breathe, not to mention the blind corners and how dark and unsafe it feels at night...

The best and most consistent fries in the city (IMO) were at The John on Bloor around Dufferin (R.I.P.). They closed without warning in August and there is zero info/no phone number/no updates to social media. Anyone have intel on what the heck happened here?
