If this proposal includes buses having access to the pier, I’m dead set against it. The east side of the slip is supposed to be a park / pedestrian area. Having vehicle access that area will ruin the vision of the park and lakeside promenade. In addition, having huge boats blocking the view...

Agreed. The renderings on Hariri Pontarini Architects website, including recent ones like the one below with the future phases shown, has glass blocking the tuned mass damper. Source: https://www.hariripontarini.com/projects/one-yonge

So that is October 30, 2024 and August 1, 2025. If so, took 9 months to do about 6 or 7 floors? Realize it is non-residential floors so a bit slower but that seems very slow. Regardless, good to see they are picking up the pace on the residential floors.

I was trying to figure out where you took these pictures as you said looking north, which would mean you were basically on the train tracks. Those pictures are looking SOUTH.

I’ve finished holding my breath. That grey cladding is very disappointing for such a high-end development. Odd choice.

Don’t know there has to be one. But if so, then sit and wait until there is an LRT as that land is one of the last pieces of prime waterfront and should be the site of a landmark and not just another condo.

There are plenty of condos on the way. That particular lot on the waterfront south/SW of the silos and near the future pedestrian bridge should be a cultural/civic/tourist landmark.

    Not great but as advertised.

Cladding is better than expected vis-a-vis the renderings. That said, this development is in the heart of Yorkville and should be even better.

My favourite part was seeing Gehry rotating the model of this development. Will look amazing with the light shimmering off these buildings.

Wouldn't it be spectacular if the city built a plaza with steps/seating built into the hill where the photo above (Source: Flonicky) was taken from off of Broadview Avenue? Great place to watch sunsets, the skyline, and the fields below.. Something like this:

Some of the best pics I've seen of this project, and I've seen over a 1000!! Well done ProjectEnd.
