27 floors does feel out of place here. Maybe just just an opening negotiating stance from the developer? I liked the earlier proposal and was hoping it would start soon. Oh well.

I think it's the top Subaru dealership in all of Canada in terms of sales? Something like that. Hard to mess with a good thing, I guess.

It takes a long time for a community to build somewhere. This site does seem to get more active month by month. I much prefer this place not only for posting photos, but also because it’s actually readable on my phone while I’m commuting or whatever.

Weird to suddenly have this wide open space at this intersection

It's just the one excavator but it's been working all week and was drilling rock last night. A wide swath in the area of phase one. Seems this one may actually be starting.

There was an excavator working on the site this morning, digging some fairly wide holes. Presumably doing more site prep or soil work. I have a hunch phase one (the building fronting Roosevelt) will start next year.

The Winona street work is done, the site is fully clear again. Hopefully this project starts before too long, because for now there's a gigantic, vacant lot filled with weeds right in the centre of Westboro Village. On a positive note, Heartbreakers Pizza has opened a location just across the...

They really nailed this project. I came here quite a few times in the summer with my kids, it's a great atmosphere and the amenities -- washrooms, cafe, playground, etc -- are all well built and very useful.

I actually just noticed yesterday there appeared to be some work going on in/around Whispers. Maybe they are getting ready for demolition.
