Wow those numbers are eye opening, makes you wonder why conservative governments are so hell bent on privatization in every service they traditionally provide...

The only thing that I can think of that would somewhat redeem this site is running curbside or median bus lanes between Erindale GO to wherever the HuLRT loop ends up (Confederation/Living Arts/Duke of York). Taking Burnhamthorpe down to 2 lanes of car traffic is needed to make the pedestrian...

Good eye! Totally missed the woonerf label on that one, that would be awesome to see here. I would love to see more pedestrianization in this area in general especially the section of Sq 1 drive between CCTT and SQ1, I think that should just be blocked off for cars to be honest similar to what...

A little birdie told me it is in fact, not just a single tower on that block. I'm not sure how to feel about this concept, I like density but this seems a bit too crowded with 5 towers. It seems like a missed opportunity to break the block up with another N/S road or pedestrian path between...

Square One Drive and City Centre Drive Extension

I think this was just a preliminary concept, from what I've heard City's transportation dept. prefer the following configuration instead as it's a more efficient use of land (leaves a development parcel at Shipp/Rathburn intersection) & less chaotic than a 5 connection roundabout.

City really ought to push for more retail in developments like these, especially after they put out that report recently about how there's a lack of retail and they're expecting to lose more as commerical lots/strip malls intensify and re-develop.

For a moment there I thought that was Cambridge, Ontario and I had to give my head a shake - surely that's Massachusetts lol. As for Mississauga, I'm delusion-ally optimistic that the bike lanes that are coming online with the HuLRT are going to ramp up the biking numbers. As someone that...

Hopefully not just a single tower on a block that big...

Seconding this, another obvious choice for pedestrianization to me is the section of Square One Drive in front of the bus terminal.

I like it, but couldn't they give the art gallery its own space too with all the re-development?

I haven't seen this posted yet in this thread so apologies if it's a repeat but it looks like the office space in the podium of this one is being marketted for sale now: https://mcitycondos.com/assets/brochures/M3_448_Burnhamthorpe_Brochure.pdf I didn't even realize this one had an office...

Mississauga Zonta Meadows Park Revitalization | 1s | City of Mississauga | Cosburn Giberson

Public consultation is now open for the public art installation at this park: https://yoursay.mississauga.ca/public-art-at-zonta-meadows-park I'm pretty partial to the wishing well one myself, I think it's the most versatile in terms of when/how it can be experienced by visitors, but for...

Nice to see the second party hat is now live 🥳

I wonder if they're going to build that other N/S road just east of The Exchange as part of this development or as part of the other one next door that Oxford are planning.

Mississauga Toronto | Erin Mills Town Centre Northwest Redevelopment | 142.65m | 44s | Pemberton | BDP Quadrangle

I would think it's for a bus transit hub, I think a BRT on Erin Mills with a terminal in that area is more likely than Line 5 going this far into Mississauga.
