I wouldn’t be surprised if the average per unit was higher than 1.5 the past few years. Anecdotally I know of new Canadians with 4 or 5 people to an apartment.

I think it’ll help the area. CF isn’t the type of landlord to built something low rent, so the new buildings should add some good residents to the area. This could and probably will spur on more development to the area. Is there a grocer in Chinook Centre or is that gone now?
