    ..and a better design that doesnt look like a buncha boxes mashed into each other. I am not one for lazy design no matter how much more "density" it gives to the city. We deserve better, although admittedly the last version of their design wasn't too too bad.. that podium though.. blegh.

    That only applies for buildings built after Nov 15, 2018 I believe - rent caps still apply for the majority of rentals - 2.5% for 2025 and 2.1% for 2026 I believe.. you nearly gave me a heart attack there for a second lol.. And there is definitely demand..

    And the most controversial - they stated they didn't just want it to be an empty dirt plot.. I honestly think Id prefer that over the zombie mall.. still.. the 5 condos on this plot design I felt was a colossal waste of that spot, so maybe it was for the best. Esp. that inner triangle design...
