Still better than most of the slop that gets proposed -I'll take too much detail over not enough thank you. It's a pretty prison for old people - it can look however it wants lol..

Well I may not agree with his methods, but at least he gets stuff built. Also I am not sure the world at large thinks of anything positive when you bring up Albania lol.. we've kinda been conditioned to believe that whole area is just poor.. movies like eurotrip probably didn't help.. oh and...

Propose it to the city as a building code amendment! That would be great ! Sometimes its just a matter of noone ever drafting it up - most of our codes only get amended after something disastrous happens and they're like "oh, guess we should make a rule against that" - I mean they already...

The thing I hate is that this stretch is virtually unwalkable- that whole mcmaster building is just a curtainwall thats not available to the public to shop from after a massively unwalkable area from the bus station to here. Downtown basically stops being walkable west of james or the bus...

I knew it was only a matter of time before something happened to this strip.. won't be surprised to see it eventually all torn down from here to A & W eventually - the land is too prime now.. kinda gives me stinson vibes.. I do like it though and the big windows, and it being all black is sharp...

Let's not forget that long ago.. loong ago hamilton was seen on the same level as toronto - we're just slowly shaking off the dust, putting the tophats back on the buildings and getting that vibe back.

Still wish they'd add the wrought iron roof toppers that were originally on it.. adds that final bit of class.. But it's great to see this building feel ALIVE again and not just a dusty old relic..

What is that thirds roasting collective" building? Is it a coffee place? Also have to admit the glass finishes are spot on. Now we'll see how many birds fly into them lol...

Haha yes very true - that area of square one feels like an island in a wasteland..

Well there is a chunk taken out of the back of the top floor then that wasn't in the render, and the top floors are stepped back without a roof overhang so.. it's confusing.. Feels like they've.. cut corners.. pun intended.. Also.. it's crazy that "real brick" is now seen as a luxury..
