I get that. But why not revert to the original names from before it became Highway 7? Bovaird and Queen St in Brampton are no longer called Highway 7.

Has there ever been discussion of connecting the western parts of Langstaff after they connect the center and eastern parts over the CN rail yard? Also, shouldn’t parts of Highway 7 be renamed Langstaff and 14th/Centre Rd and reconnected as appropriate or has that never been considered? Just...

Seeing the map of the Eglinton line with a station simply designated "Eglinton" really highlights the stupidity of leaving that name the same. It boggles my mind that they want to change Eglinton West, but not Eglinton itself.

Well that's why the method of using the names of the cross-streets works well, there's no ambiguity as to where the station is.

I hate the new way they’re naming stops. I really prefer just naming them after the two cross-streets. The streets are (mostly) on a grid so it would be quite helpful to know where you are.

I’m not sure what you mean? I find it quicker to go up Jarvis than Yonge. Lots of pedestrians and slow moving vehicles on Yonge

Even the Toronto Rathburn and Mississauga Rathburn never got a bridge to connect them.

Which is annoying. I always try to avoid Yonge because it moves so slow

It’s Mineola actually. I grew up in Mineola West. It’s a great area. It’s an oasis surrounded by the QEW to the north with Cooksville and Square One beyond, and very close to Port Credit just south of the tracks. With the multi million dollar homes in the area, I don’t see that changing.

I didn’t realize they are closing the Jarvis off-ramp. That’ll be inconvenient for getting to the Village.

Gotta say I really dislike this plan. It's just not intuitive. If you're going to build a new east-west arterial in that part of Brampton on a similar alignment to Major Mackenzie, why not just extend Major Mackenzie, and have Coleraine realigned to meet it slightly further west? Or you could...
