I've never been able to use the PBSC app successfully. It always tells me to turn on my Bluetooth for some reason, even though it is on, and doesn't let me proceed. So I've been using the key card, and I've noticed that it's being really buggy. A lot of the times the red light will light up...

You're right! I wonder if that has something to do with any of the redevelopment projects where the station was before.

I just spotted a new station at King and Portland today. NW corner.

What about the downtown part of Yonge? I haven't seen it being mentioned as part of either ActiveTO or any other initiative. It used to be part of Open Streets too.

Yeah it all comes down to execution. Some bolder materials or splashes of colour could have gone a long way in this project. Also hoping that the streetwall doesn't end up being just another bland glass wall.

Step to the right direction, but why do they still put the parking spaces over the bike lane? Is it an accessibility issue?

I should clarify that I meant as long as they go with this iteration AND don't butcher the heritage building, I'll be happy! I still care about what they build above. Ideally for me, they would combine the tower portion of the very initial proposal and the podium/heritage buildings of this one.

Definitely better than the last iteration (which is not a great standard to begin with). As long as they don't butcher the preservation of the older buildings, I'll be happy.

Wow, negatively surprised with this. I know it's just a concept, but it ruins the whole idea of creating a massive public park on the space. As others mentioned, it looks like a mess of uneven surfaces and paved spaces and looks like it would be rather hostile and not provide a good experience...

Super bland tower, especially in that area joining some great ones like the Selby. But the public realm has some potential IMO.

Oh this is sad. I wasn't aware that the system was being run by a private company. Makes me want to research if Bike Share is also in a similar agreement. We can't afford to lose the system especially now. (Also hi, first post here ? )
